About the event
This workshop explores the intersection of race, gender, and grief with a specific focus on Black men and grief. This topic warrants special attention because:
• grief is a natural social process with adverse mental health outcomes if not properly addressed

• Black men are susceptible to egregious injustices and senseless acts that also result in grievous experiences
In this workshop mental health professionals learn how to care for the grieving heart of their Black male clients.
