-
Married

Dating/Cohabitating
-
Engaged
-
Separated

Divorced
If you are engaged or thinking about becoming engaged, pre-marital counseling prepares
you for life after "I do". Pre-marital counseling guides couples through a curriculum that explores communication, decision making, problem solving, goal setting, love languages, role expectations, and financial literacy, among other practical and important considerations when two lives prepare to become one. Pre-marital counseling with a trained professional therapist is also a great supplement to counseling that is often required if you plan to marry in a church, temple, synagogue, or other religious edifice. Don't just prepare for the "big day", prepare for the happily ever after through pre-marital counseling.
"Grief is love with nowhere to go" (Deniston, 2021). Your grief journey is personal and will lead you over emotional terrains that may change from day to day. It is not uncommon to feel like you are falling apart, numb, okay one minute, and feeling like you will never be whole again the next minute. What most grief counselors agree on is that avoiding the pain and circumventing the grief process extends the journey. Grief counseling offers a supportive space where your pain is witnessed by a caring professional who walks alongside you in the wilderness of grief. Through support, education, tools for "good grief", and the grace and compassion that you learn to extend to yourself, your counselor will assist you to grieve fully so that you may live fully, again.
